Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Trail Viewer app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by HIMON SOFTWARE LTD (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not require registration and can be used without providing any personal information. However, if you choose to submit a trail scan through the Application, the following information is collected:
- Display name — shown publicly as contributor credit within the Application.
- Email address — used by the Service Provider to contact you regarding your submission. Not shown publicly.
- Instagram handle (optional) — shown publicly alongside your display name as contributor credit within the Application.
- Trail scan file (GLB format) — uploaded and stored securely. If approved, the scan is made available to users of the Application.
Submission data is used solely to operate the trail submission feature and to credit contributors. It is not used for advertising or analytics purposes.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Submitted trail scan files are stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3. No personal information is shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
Submission data (including your name, email, optional Instagram handle, and uploaded file) is retained for as long as the submission remains in our system or the associated trail version is active in the Application.
You may request deletion of your submitted data at any time by emailing simon@himon.dev with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include the display name and email address used during submission. The Service Provider will action your request within 30 days.
What are my opt-out rights?
Submitting a trail is entirely optional. You can use all core features of the Application without providing any personal information. You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the App Store.
Children
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to monitor their children's use of the Application and to instruct them never to provide personally identifiable information without permission. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at simon@himon.dev so that the necessary actions can be taken. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information (in some countries a parent or guardian may do so on your behalf).
Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to safeguard any information collected through the trail submission feature, including secure transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use of the Application is deemed acceptance of any changes.

Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
